Hi, my name is Zak and I am a core member of Drama Matters leading on entertainment and Drama in primary schools. Do you live or work in Leicestershire and Rutland? If so, I am your Bridge Builder for this area. I currently live in South Leicestershire but I am originally from Coventry.

I have been a teacher for over 7 years now. I am currently an ambassador and supply teacher for YSA Education. I am also a Vice Chair Governor for Arden Forest Infant School in Warwickshire. I have also been a Subject Leader of Drama in Warwickshire for over four and a half years.

I have directed Shakespeare Schools Festival and National Theatre Connections performances. I am also a Theatre Centre ambassador, where my students participated in the imagiNation project during lockdown and their Speak your Peace monologue competition. I completed my NPQML in 2020. In my NQT year, I set up the Drama Department in Birmingham. I did my PGCE in Secondary Core Drama at the University of Warwick and graduated from Lancaster University in BA (Hons) Theatre Studies.
